Dr. Holly Shiao is a psychiatrist who has worked extensively with medically complex patients, including a special focus in psycho-oncology with cancer patients. She is double board-certified in Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry and Adult Psychiatry. She has been practicing for over 7 years. Before Talkiatry, Dr. Shiao worked as an Assistant Professor at the University of Washington and Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center. She also worked as an Assistant Professor and was Director of Emergency Psychiatry at the University of Chicago. She has presented nationally at the Academy of Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry and written a book chapter about psycho-oncology. Dr. Shiao attended medical school at John P. and Kathrine G. McGovern Medical School at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston. She then completed an Adult Psychiatry residency at the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston, followed by a Consultation-Liaison fellowship at Dell Medical School at the University of Texas at Austin. Dr. Shiao is interested in the mind-body connection in overall emotional and mental well-being. She likes to integrate therapy modalities, such as cognitive behavioral therapy, supportive therapy, mindfulness and meditation with medication management to optimize a patient's mental health.

Svetlana Schwartz, PMHNP

Svetlana Schwartz, PMHNP, is a board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner with 18 years of experience in outpatient psychiatry providing care to patients with depression, anxiety, substance abuse, ADHD, Bipolar disorders, OCD, Schizoaffective disorders and Schizophrenia.

Svetlana practice focuses on medication management in conjunction with supportive or cognitive behavioral therapy. She received her Master of Science in Nursing with specialty in adult psychiatry from UMass/Lowell and Bachelor of Science in Nursing from UMass/Boston. She is trained in psychiatric diagnosis, medication management, and psychodynamic and cognitive-behavioral therapies. Svetlana has extensive experience evaluating and treating adults in outpatient settings over the past 18 years. Previously, she worked at Arbour HRI Outpatient Clinic in Massachusetts, and for the last 10+ years at Memorial Health Care System in Florida.

As a nurse practitioner, Svetlana believes that addressing mental health concerns is just as important as addressing physical concerns. At Memorial Health Care System, she worked in collaboration with Mind-Body-Wellness Clinic to address patients medical and psychiatric needs. She also trained psychiatric and internal medicine residents in outpatient psychiatry. Svetlana believes that the best approach to mental health is medication management and individual therapy combined.

Cody Chua is a licensed clinical social worker with extensive experience working in the mental health field. He has a passion for helping individuals, children, couples, and families by assisting them in finding their inner strengths and natural capabilities that aid in creating positive change and fostering healthy relationships. Cody completed school at the University of Houston's Graduate College of Social Work, in Houston, TX, while completing his practicum at Texas Children's Hospital Outpatient Psychiatry Clinic. Cody has 3 years of experience as a therapist in inpatient, outpatient, and virtual settings, offering individual, group, and family counseling to teens and adults. He specializes in working with clients with mood disorders, behavioral issues, grief and trauma, substance abuse, and co-occurring disorders. Cody tailors his treatment approach to each individual client, and has experience with various modalities, including mentalization based therapy, logotherapy, and cognitive based therapy. Dr. Theresa Colberg is a board certified adult psychiatrist. She offers guidance with navigating difficult and painful emotions that may result from mood disorders, stressful life situations, the loss of a loved one, traumatic events, attachment traumas, or neurodevelopment disorders. Within a safe, and supportive working relationship, Dr. Colberg will strive to reach an understanding of your unique situation, identify the issues that are interfering with progress, and develop a plan to better identify and achieve your goals. Previous to joining Talkiatry, Dr. Colberg served as a clinical psychiatrist for the VA Healthcare System, providing care for veterans with a predominant focus on treatment of post traumatic stress disorder. She has also worked collaboratively as an integrated psychiatrist for a primary care FQHC, treating psychiatric symptoms within a primary care setting. Dr. Colberg completed her Psychiatry Residency from Mount Sinai-Beth Israel in New York City and obtained her medical degree from Temple Medical School in Philadelphia. She offers 60-minute initial appointments and 30-minute follow-up appointments, and she won't hesitate to collaborate with other mental health experts as necessary to better support your needs.

Paulina Bollat Orbea, LCSW

Paulina Bollat Orbea is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Florida and Colorado. She earned her Master’s Degree in Social Work at Florida International University and has worked in a variety of clinical settings including outpatient clinic, psychiatric hospital, correctional facility, community mental health, university counseling and research and private practice environments.

Paulina has experience working with individuals who experience depression, anxiety, trauma, stress, family conflict, LGBTQ+ related concerns, substance use disorders and other mental health concerns. Paulina has worked with people of diverse ethnicities, cultures and identities. As a Guatemalan native, she is also able to offer therapy in Spanish.

Paulina’s therapeutic approach is dependent on the patient’s needs. She largely follows a Cognitive Behavioral approach, while also implementing psychodynamic, Internal Family Systems, Person-Centered and Solution-Focused orientations. Her treatment style prioritizes evidence-based practice and a therapeutic alliance built through empathy, collaboration and cultivating a safe, judgement-free space for the patient.

Dr. Panchal is a board-certified adult psychiatrist who works with motivated adults to navigate and discover the root of their mental health struggles. Since working in private practice, Dr. Panchal knows that discovering the root of difficulties allows clients to find healthy perceptions of themselves and strengthen their relationships so they can know themselves as a whole. She is trained in multiple therapeutic modalities as well as medication management, implementing individually tailored treatment.
